Surf Access Vehicle

Our Surf Access Vehicle (SAV) allows disabled people to access the sea. One or more instructors can control the chair, and there are numerous other points around the chair to help move the SAV over rough terrain, slippery ground or inclines.

The SAV is designed to sink into the water so the back rest can lie flat, meaning the surfer can slide off backwards and directly onto our specially designed surfboard. Alternatively, the board and surfer can lie prone on the platform and then simply slide straight off and into the water.
