Shannon Hall became Cerebra’s Junior Ambassador after winning the award for Courage at Cerebra’s Children’s Awards in 2009.
Shannon was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was nine years old. Despite all of her treatment, the extent of her complications and the effects they have on her day-to-day life, Shannon is always ready with a smile and a joke.
Shannon says “I love playing my guitar, drawing, making things and going out shopping with my mum and friends. My most favourite lessons in school are Music, Drama and Art (because they are more fun!) I’m thinking of working at a pet shop or working as a vet when I leave school”.
“I have a brain tumour and I am half blind and half deaf. I like to laugh! I am very proud and pleased to be involved with Cerebra because of the support they provide and also the research they do to help children who have brain issues.”Shannon Hall
