Raffle Marketing Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic individual to develop existing campaigns and encourage, support and grow
fundraising income. We’d also like you to plan projects, design, develop and implement creative marketing
strategies that will make an impact.

Your primary role is to ensure the success of the two raffle campaigns we hold every year as well as being central to the developing and producing of branded mailshots for other promotions within the fundraising department.

The role requires a conscientious team player who is quick to learn, highly organised, attentive to detail and able to drive projects efficiently.  The successful candidate will be someone with both an artistic and analytical mind, with experience from a marketing or advertising background combined with good administrative skills.  Creative writing and excellent communication capabilities will ensure success in this position.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook in particular) is essential.  Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and
InDesign would be beneficial.  Familiarity of Access databases would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given.

Salary: £18,000—£18,500

Hours: Full time/Permanent—35 Hours (Monday—Friday)

Call Centre Supervisor

An excellent Call Centre Supervisor must have customer service and supervisory experience.  The ideal  candidate must possess great communication skills and be able to lead and motivate.  You will be organised and reliable as well as results oriented.
The goal is to achieve drive and excellent performance from the team that will bring sustainable charity donation growth.

Experience in customer service and one year minimum proven call centre supervisor or similar supervisory position is essential.  You must have a working knowledge of MS Office with outstanding communication abilities and excellent organisational skills.

You will be responsible for managing, training and guiding call centre agents in performing their duties.  Monitor calls, analyse performance, provide support and resolve problems.  Motivate staff and optimise procedures.  Measure performance and keep management informed on issues.

The position is for a minimum of 17 hours per week (evenings & Saturdays), pay rate is £9.42 per hour.

Workshop Facilitators in Scotland

Help families get the knowledge they need to secure appropriate health, social care and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for their disabled child.

Having received a number of requests from Scotland we have adapted our Accessing Public Services toolkit to make it relevant to Scotland. We now want to roll out workshops across Scotland to help parent/carers to use this new toolkit. It can be daunting, exhausting and sometimes intimidating to challenge public officials so by running these workshops we want to empower parent/carers to not feel fearful about complaining.

If you are a parent/carer of a child with a brain condition and you’d like to be involved in helping to run these workshops in Scotland then please send an up-to-date CV and covering letter to Beverley Hitchcock (beverleyh@cerebra.org.uk) by 5pm on Thursday the 12th October 2017. Full training will be provided, along with a daily rate of £150 (£75 for a half day) and travelling expenses.
